At UCSB Gevirtz School’s McEnroe Reading Clinic, researchers are using virtual reality to elevate voices of youth who can become advocates for positive change through education that allows them to unleash their imaginations.

The Gevirtz School's Dean Jeffrey Milem presented to the trustees at the UC Santa Barbara Foundation's 150th Meeting in May.

Also in May, Tarek Azzam of the Center for Evaluation and Assessment presented on the State of Nonprofits in Santa Barbara County at the Partnership for Excellence Conference.

The Gevirtz School will be a leader in addressing pressing social justice issues through interdisciplinary collaborations grounded in educational and applied psychological research, teaching, and service.
